The Graveyard Show Podcast #53- Guests: Black Betty (Original Miss Horrorfest), Brian Pulido (Director/Writer, "The Graves"), BC's Video Vault, Featured Music ("The Graves" Soundtrack)

Hello All,

This week we'll begin dedicating our shows to the After Dark Horrorfest: 8 Films To Die For IV. The festival begins on January 29th and runs through February 5th.

First, I'm kicking it all off by welcoming the original Miss Horrorfest- Black Betty- to the program. We'll talk about the films in this year's festival as well as about Miss Betty herself- especially that scream!

Then, I'll be joined by Brian Pulido, who is the director & writer of the film "The Graves". We'll talk about what the film's about, what it was like directing his first feature film, working with Tony Todd & Bill Moseley, and the difficulties shooting the film in Historic Vulture Mine in Arizona. He'll also tell you where you can go to buy official "The Graves" products as well!

Featured music this week comes from the soundtrack to "The Graves". You'll be hearing the following cuts:

1) "Frozen Ghost" by The Rosedales. You can also visit them here as well.

2) "Only a Matter of Time" by composer Jim Casella.

Brian Collins
returns this week as BC's Video Vault is open for business! BC will review three movies this month: "Carriers" "Alien Prey", and "Door Into Silence".

                                                          Calling All Bands & Composers!!!

The Graveyard Show Podcast is now featuring music on the podcast. So, if you're in a band, know anyone who has a band, or are a composer of a soundtrack, we will feature your music on our show. We will also post your website(s) and live gigs as well. We are looking for all genres of music to feature- we're not just looking for rock and metal.

Here's what you need to do:

1) You can send us up to 3 cuts of music maximum.

2) Those tracks cannot be any longer than 90 seconds (shorter if you'd like).

3) All music has to be "radio edits". You will need to edit out any of the hardcore cursing.

That's it!

You can email the cuts to us @  graveyardshow@gmail.com

This works on a first come, first serve basis so the sooner you send us the music the sooner you'll be booked on the show!

The Graveyard Show Podcast is a proud sponsor of the Women in Horror Con, coming to San Francisco on Saturday, February 27th. It is presented by Last Doorway Productions, and the convention honors Bay Area women in horror. Guests scheduled to appear are Kaci Hansen, Dai Green, Michelle Fatale, Dottie Lux, and Val Killmore (as always that's subject to change).
